
Chef Imthiaz Kader affectionately known as ‘Imi,” hails from the Island of Curaçao in the Netherlands Antilles. Chef Imi is Executive Chef of the Hilton Curaçao and currently serves as captain of the Curaçao Culinary Team. Prior to joining the Hilton Curaçao Chef Imi worked in several capacities at the Hilton London Heathrow.
Curaçao is proud of Chef Imi’s many achievements. He is the recipient of many gold, silver and bronze medals awarded to him by many prestigious Hospitality and Culinary shows held throughout the United Kingdom. Chef Imi is a 2007 gold medalist in the UK based hospitality show and was awarded a bronze medal in the Tilda Chef of the Year Award that same year. His many achievements date back to 2001.
Chef Imi’s culinary experience is broad and varied. His culinary style is particularly fused with a strong dose of Island flavor with a solid base of International cooking techniques.
