Spirits of Mexico Day Proclomation
SEPTEMBER 18 SPIRITS OF MEXICO FESTIVAL DAY

SUAVEMENTE

It often takes years to bring a product to retail shelves. Seeing those first bottles coming off the production line is a Master Distiller’s most auspicious, and daunting, moment. You won’t find these first run bottles on store shelves; they are never offered up for sale. In honor of September 18, Official Spirits of Mexico Festival Day in San Diego, multiple award-winning Tequila Suavemente is donating the 18 th bottling of their full line—Blanco, Reposado, Anejo & Extra Anejo—with provenance—at auction. This extra-special grouping will be ‘live auctioned’ at the Awards Dinner on Friday September 17 at Barra Barra Saloon and in the Casa de Reyes courtyard. More information . . .

KAH EXTRA ANEJO SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL TEQUILA

In addition to the 2010 Best of Category, Anejo award (out of 38 entries), KAH (meaning ‘life’) “Day of the Dead” Tequila swept the 2010 Tasting Competition with 3 medals, Gold for Blanco & Anejo and Bronze for Reposado. KAH’s cultural roots are in in Aztec and Meso-American observances of Day of the Dead, which in turn represents rebirth and new beginnings. In rural Mexico, where Day of the Dead is very much an institution, people visit the cemetery to not only honor the past but celebrate everything that makes life good, including the favorite foods of their loved ones. KAH Tequila bottles capture that enduring spirit, from the exquisitely rendered skull shape to the motifs and flourishes that adorn it. The tequila inside, meanwhile, is award-winning. Watch KAH “Day of the Dead” Video here Extra-Anejo KAH Swarovski Crystal Tequila will not be available until 2011—the lucky bidder will be the only one in the U.S. to own it. It is signed by Kim Brandi, Owner and Creator of KAH. More Information . . .

Successful bidders are the only consumers in the United States to own this multiple-award-winning Tequila from renowned Master Distiller German Gonzalez.

More unique, one-of-a-kind collectible items will be available for “live bidding” at the Awards Dinner on Friday evening, September 17 at Barra Barra Saloon. Bidding will take place in the Casa de Reyes Courtyard.
