Join us in this inaugural celebration of spirits made in the New World.
We’re living in the era of spirits’ual diversity. Vodka, once primarily made in Poland and Russia from wheat, potato & rye is now being produced from maple syrup, apples and single varietal grapes, and, it’s being made from Argentina to Maine. Rums, produced mostly in the Caribbean, now hail from Peru, Panama, Nicaragua, Belize and, of course, the USA. Pisco, THE spirit of the California gold rush, is finding gold in those hills once again. Cachaca, once almost exclusively consumed in Brazil, is now spoken everywhere. Aaaaaaaah, agave spirits, the resplendent & prolific styles of Tequilas & those highly complex Mezcals. Here’s to Bourbon, the spirit of America. And, to our Northern neighbors, the Canadians, who continue to amaze. Just makes one’s mouth water, eh?
Refresh & relax from the Show! Sample dozens of premium and super-premium spirits, some new-to-market, some traditional favorites. Ample palate pleasing hors d’oeuvres will be served up with smooth soothing sounds of jazz.
SPIRITS OF THE AMERICAS also honors & celebrates a very important date, the 50th Anniversary of Sky Ranch for Boys.
Since 1960, Sky Ranch for Boys has been giving troubled kids a second chance. Thanks to our industry and the financial backing of the Sky Ranch Foundation and its network of contributors, Sky Ranch today is a 3,000 acre working ranch, a licensed special education school and an inspiration to those who know and understand its special work.
